About the event
On 22 October, Villa Wolkonsky, the Residence of the British Ambassador to Italy in Rome, will host the conference “Transforming Public Services with AI: Opportunities, Risks and Realities.”
The event will bring together British and Italian perspectives to explore a fundamental question: How can governments turn the promise of AI into better, more efficient and trusted public services?
Bailey Reid, Lorenzo Marcianò Agostinelli and Professor Jeremy N. White will explore the opportunities and practical applications of AI in government, while Stefania Ducci and Massimiliano Filippi will address risks, regulation, accountability and public trust.
The conference will also mark the official launch of the International Institute for AI in Government, an independent, non-profit initiative dedicated to advancing research, international dialogue and responsible AI adoption in the public sector.
Our sincere thanks to the British Embassy in Rome for hosting this event.
